Session GuideWHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR SESSION:
Expect to be nurtured, comforted and listened to, with your best interests in mind. Expect a warm, safe environment where you can let your hair down and not be judged. Expect a warm room, a hot pack to relieve your achey muscles, incense, candles and deliciously scented oil for your massage sessions. Expect the unexpected during your Energy Session. The treatments will release, reveal and rejuvenate you. You will most likely feel alive, well and happy when you leave. You may even look younger!

BEFORE YOUR SESSION:
Please shower before your session and, if necessary, eat lightly one hour prior avoiding any stimulants such as coffee, alcohol or drugs. Please come to your session clear about the issue(s) that you would like to focus on and stay open to surprises. Have any questions ready for the Consultation or Spiritual Counseling. Wear comfortable clothing and remove all jewelry. Arrive on time and please reschedule/cancel appointments at least 24-48 hours in advance. (100% of total fee charged for same day cancellations or for "No Show" at time of appointment.)

DURING YOUR SESSION:
It is customary to be nude for your massage therapy treatments. If you prefer, you may leave your underwear on for your treatment, but this may hinder certain massage techniques for the lower back and legs.
When you get on the table, please use your breath to let go and relax. A good breathing exercise to help settle in to your treatment is to breathe in for 3 counts and breathe out for 4 counts. Continue to do this while you simultaneously relax all the muscles in the body and feel your thoughts float away. You will feel heavier and heavier as if you are sinking into the table. Try to go into a deep meditation during your session so that you can get in touch with what is really at issue in your body, mind & spirit.
Additionally, it is important to release your breath when tense areas are being worked on. Holding the breath holds onto the pain, releasing the breath releases pain, tension and blockages.
*Please make sure you are always comfortable during your session, and to say so if you are not. This is your special time and it is important that you are completely at ease for maximum results.
AFTER YOUR SESSION:
In general, it is essential to drink at least 1-2 litres of water a day in the days immediately following any kind of bodywork to flush the body and release toxins that the massage/emotional release may have stimulated. You may feel muscle soreness, develop cold symptoms or have a headache. This should only be temporary for a day or two. Please call with any questions you may have after your session.
Energy Sessions are more intensive than regular sessions. Allow 72 hours after your session to process possible physical, emotional, mental or spiritual developments. Insights and revelations can further develop over the following weeks and months. Avoid television, radio and any other static electricity immediately following an Energy Session as it may interfere with the Light Energy that you have received. Rest for 8-10 hours after your treatment for maximum results. It is preferable if you clear your agenda for the weekend.
Avoid any stimulants such as coffee, alcohol or drugs immediately following the treatment. Be gentle with yourself, eat healthily and participate in nurturing activities such as warm baths, saunas, spa treatments, long walks, swimming, yoga, meditation and other relaxing pastimes. You may want to paint or keep a journal of your experiences or indulge in any other creative outlet which will help you to further express yourself. Watch your dreams and be aware of signs and clues on your path. The universe will conspire to help you during your healing process but you must be alert!
